The Missing Face features a previously unreleased live recording from The Ballroom, Cleveland, Ohio in November 1977. The band had a reputation as great, powerful live performers and this recording captures them playing tracks from the recently released Missing Piece album.
Gentle Giant have a solid fan base who will welcome the addition of these great performances to the band's catalogue, as would any prog-rock enthusiast.
Gentle Giant were originally formed as Simon Dupree And The Big Sound in 1966, having a top ten hit in 1967 with the psychedelic Kites. They became Gentle Giant in 1969 and recorded a number of classic progressive rock albums including Three Friends, In A Glass House and Free Hand, before splitting up in 1980.
