Glass House continue their program of re-issuing the concert series by those 70s progressive myths Gentle Giant.
Gentle Giant were founded in 1966 as the psychedelic Simon Dupree And The Big Sound and included the Shulman brothers Derek, Ray and Phil. They had a top 10 smash 'Kites' before re-launching themselves on the prog-rock scene as Gentle Giant.
In A Palesport House is packaged with the Giants' unusual blend of early instrumentation and traditional rock instruments. Recorded in Italy 1973 the material comes mainly from two albums, Octopus (top 200 in USA), and In A Glass House (became one of the top import albums in the USA).
Such tracks as “The Runaway", “Way of Life", “Knots", “Nothing At All" - make this CD essential listening for both Gentle Giant fans and all prog-rock enthusiasts.
