Artistically Cryme features a great previously unreleased live performance from Gentle Giant recorded at Olympen-Sparta in Lund, Sweden during September 1976.
Gentle Giant had a reputation as a great, powerful live band, and this finds the band at the peak of its powers. The band has a solid fan base who will welcome the addition of these great performances to the band's catalogue, as would any prog-rock enthusiast.
Gentle Giant were originally formed as Simon Dupree And The Big Sound in 1966, having a top ten hit in 1967 with the psychedelic Kites. They became Gentle Giant in 1969 and recorded a number of classic progressive rock albums for the Vertigo label including Three Friends, In A Glass House and Free Hand, before splitting up in 1980.
