Formed at the dawn of progressive rock in 1969 from the ruins of Simon Dupree And The Big Sound, the band released their first album on Vertigo in 1970 They seemed for a time in the mid 70’s poised to break out of their cult based status, but somehow they never quite made that jump Considered closer in spirit to Yes and King Crimson rather than ELP and The Nice, their unique sound melded hard rock with classical music This set was recorded live at The White Plains Music Hall, White Plains, New York, 3rd October 1975.
