Legendary LESLIE WEST the founder member of MOUNTAIN, America’s answer to CREAM toured the UK in 1998.

This recording captures the band live during a club date in Toronto in 1976.   LESLIE WEST at the time was promoting the previous year’s album ‘The Great Fatsby’ at this point, and the tracks ‘Honkey Tonk Woman’ and ‘House of the Rising Sun’ are taken from it.   Included in the set are two MOUNTAIN classics, ‘Mississippi Queen’ and ‘Never in My Life’ along with ‘Roll Over Beethoven’ which had been his showcase in the early MOUNTAIN days.   The line-up on these recordings were future FOREIGNER guitarist MICK JONES, and special guest drummer CARMINE APPICE from the Vanilla Fudge who was also playing drums for Rod Stewart.
