DAEVID ALLEN has mostly achieved notoriety as the creator of THE SOFT MACHINE, and his long term project GONG. Since the mid sixties ALLEN has continued on his experimental way exploring such diverse styles as space punk, euro-rock, and electronic and progressive rock. This CD is the full version of the death of rock EP originally released in 1982. The track ‘You Never Existed At All’ features the voice of WILLIAM S. BURROUGHS.
