Lucinda Williams is an American singer-songwriter and is one of the most celebrated singer/songwriters of her generation.
Ramblin’ was her debut album. Originally released via Smithsonian Folkways in 1991, this collection of blues and country standards by the likes of Robert Johnson, Memphis Minnie, and Hank Williams
was recorded in a traditional country and blues style with guitarist John Grimaudo. It received critical praise but little public or radio attention. Since that time, she has released a string of albums that have earned her critical acclaim and commercial success, including Car Wheels on a Gravel Road (1998) and World Without Tears (2003). Among her various accolades, she has won three Grammy Awards.
This is a limited edition on clear vinyl.
