About this release

The late ALBERT KING one of the “three kings of the blues” guitar of choice was the Gibson Flying V which he named Lucy and influenced a a host of guitarists from Mick Taylor, Eric Clapton and Joe Walsh to name but a few.

These amazing recordings are culled from four shows spanning from 1971 to 1978, kicking off with  the first 4 tracks recorded at FILLMORE EAST in 1971, followed by 5 from THE FORUM Hollywood in 1972, two from THE PURPLE CARRIAGE in 1974 and the final track I’LL PLAY THE BLUES FOR YOU at THE DOUBLE DOOR in Chicago 1978.

An awesome document from one of the all time greats and released at mid price in digi pac format.
