JORMA KAUKONEN was the original lead guitar player with San Francisco’s JEFFERSON AIRPLANE. He quit the AIRPLANE and formed HOT TUNA.
‘JORMA’ was his second solo album, and was released in 1979 the year after HOT TUNA broke up and therefore represents his first major statement as a solo artist after nearly 15 years of group work.
It was a real solo album in the true sense featuring JORMA alone on various over dubbed guitars, and the music contained is his usual mix of Folk and Blues.
Tracks:
Straight Ahead, Roads and Roads and, Valley of Tears, Song for the High Mountains, Wolves and Lambs, Too Long Out Too Long In, Requiem for an Angel, Vampire Woman, Da Ga Da Ga.
