Described as one of the greatest garage rock bands of all time, CRAZYHORSE are best known as being the backing band of NEIL YOUNG.
‘Live at Crooked Lake’ was originally released in 1972, the original rhythm of BILLY TALBOT and drummer RALPH MOLINA, and were joined by RICK and MICHAEL CURTIS, and GREG LEROY.
With the acoustic guitar strumming, and occasional steel guitar interludes, this is country rock in the style of POCO, and sometimes as in 85 El Paso, going into straight country.
This year has seen the return of CRAZY HORSE touring with NEIL YOUNG.
The CD has been out of print for quite some time, and makes a welcome return to their catalogue.
