Formed in 1978 and became something of a cult band in the prog world.
The eclectic sound reflects its member’s diverse musical backgrounds, including PETER PHIPP’s from GARY GLITTER’S band, BILL MACCORMICK who has played for MATCHING MOLE, GONG, QUIET SUN, as well as performing with BRIAN ENO, as well as PHIL MANZANERA, to name a few. This album was recorded in 1979 and 1980, the live material featured here was recorded in Canada in 1980. Seventeen tracks featured on this two disc set were produced by PETER HAMILL (VANDERGRATH GENERATOR). Described by GARY KHAN of Detroit’s City Magazine as “An atmosphere of sullen resignation pervades and the effect is overpowering, some truly exciting musical terrain here”.
