THE OUTLAWS were originally formed in Tampa, Florida in the late 1960’s, and were the first act signed to CLIVE DAVIS Arista Records in 1974.
‘Playing to Win’ was the bands fourth album originally released in 1978.
‘Ghost Riders’ was the bands 6th album originally released in 1980 and is regarded by many fans as the last OUTLAWS album that followed their old fashioned Southern Rock style.
Their version of ‘Ghost Riders In the Sky’ was one of their most successful songs, and when released as a single gave them an American top 50 hit.
