THE BEAT, known as THE ENGLISH BEAT in the USA have recently had their entire classic catalogue re-issued. The US Festival was held over two weekends in 1982 and 1983. Over the combined seven days more than one million people passed through the gates. THE BEAT performed on 3rd September with a set that included all their hits including ‘Mirror in the Bathroom’. THE BEAT along with OINGO BOINGO, were the only bands to play both the 1982 and 1983 festivals. THE BEAT are touring the UK this Autumn.
