Violinist Papa John first came to the notice of rock fans when he joined JEFFERSON AIRPLANE in 1970.
When they became JEFFERSON STARSHIP, Papa John was still with them and played on many of there biggest albums including Red Octopus in 1975 as well as releasing solo albums on there own Grunt label.
This live 2cd set was recorded in June 1983 at Long Branch Park, Liverpool NY and is one of the few live performances by Papa John recorded.
He continued to make solo albums up till 1992 when he released Papa Blues.
Papa John Creach sadly died of Heart failure in 1994 at the age of 76.
