Respected for his guitar playing, Bloomfield knew and played with many of Chicago's blues legends before achieving his own fame and was instrumental in popularising blues music in the mid-1960s.
Taken from two weekends worth of jam concerts at the Fillmore West in February 1969, this album makes features performances by Nick Gravenites, Mark Naftalin, John Kahn, and Snooky Flowers (among others), with cameos from Taj Mahal and Jesse Ed Davis.
