The THIRD EAR BAND emerged from the London Underground in the mid 1960’s and were a favourite at clubs such as UFO and The Middle Earth.
The THIRD EAR BAND improvised music drawing on Eastern raga forms, and European folk, with experimental and medieval influences.
They also opened THE ROLLING STONES free concert in Hyde Park on the 5th July 1969 – notably absent from this year’s line up.
Led by founder member GLEN SWEENEY, they have continued to record up until the late nineties.
This album recorded live was originally released in 1996.
