FRANCIS MONKMAN is best known as the founder of the progressive rock band CURVED AIR, and played on their first three albums considered as classics in the world of prog rock.
In the seventies classically trained MONKMAN was introduced to the classical guitarist JOHN WILLIAMS, and they formed the group SKY. MONKMAN has also played with BRIAN ENO, KATE BUSH, and AL STEWART amongst many others. This album ‘Jam’ was originally released in 2003, a result of a jam session with MIKE GORE, MIKE COOPER, ROB MARTIN and FLORIAN PILKINGTON-MIKSA.
