BRIAN HOPPER, guitarist and saxophonist, is the older brother of HUGH HOPPER. He was part of the early Canterbury scene playing with the band the WILDE FLOWERS. He also played saxophone on SOFT MACHINE’S second album.
‘If Ever I Am’ originally released in 2004 contains material some of which was written in the sixties, and some in the late nineties. Featured on the album on vocals, is legendary original SOFT MACHINE drummer ROBERT WYATT, along with his late brother HUGH HOPPER. Some of the guests on this album were actually members of the original WILDE FLOWERS.
