Brand new studio album finally gets a European release, from this American alternative rock band.
In their early days the band toured relentlessly opening for a variety of American bands including HUSKER DU. Their sound was described as an unholy mix of KISS and HANK WILLIAMS tossed under a train. The album is pleasantly surprising cohesive, and energised. The sound is familiar but not dated. This is classic SOUL ASYLUM - scrappy, aching, and only a little worse for the wear.
Tracks:
Gravity, Into The Light, The Streets, By The Way, Pipe Dream, Let’s All Kill Each Other, Cruel Intentions, The Juice, Take Manhattan, I Should’ve Stayed In Bed.
