This is the tenth studio album – a 2 CD set that finds this unique American band traversing two different sides, of the California landscape, the Northern Bay area and further downstate in Bakersfield.
On disc 1 (Berkeley) the band is the original CRACKER line up and is the first time this line up has recorded together in almost 20 years, and focuses on music associated with the East Bay; Punk and Garage with some funky undertones.
Disc 2 (Bakersfield) represents the California Country side of the band. Throughout the bands 24 year history, they have dabbled in Country and Americana, but this time they have wanted to pay homage to the country and Country Rock music that emerges from Bakersfield.
CRACKER has been described over the years as Americana, Alt-Rock, Insurgent-Country, and have even been described as Punk and Classic Rock.
